Great Newsome Brewery
AWARD WINNING CLASSIC BEER FROM EAST YORKSHIRE
Producing their beer at the farm brewery (set up in 2007), they like to keep alive the traditions of the East Yorkshire countryside where their family has farmed for four generations and the home grown malting barley thrives in the rich Holderness soil.
Add the choicest whole hops, their own distinctive strain of yeast and good Yorkshire water, and they have all they need for some wonderful brews.
They've given their beers names inspired by nature and local history, which you’ll enjoy learning about, such as Pricky Back Otchan, dialect for hedgehog.
They are proud of where they live and work and their sustainable business model extends to environmental initiatives such as hedgerow planting and playing a full part in community life.
